In-Game Rules

1) Metagaming
Metagaming is the act of taking OOC information and using it in-character, whether it be for an unfair advantage or
just for information sharing. Things such as the in game nametags above a character should not be used in an IC manner. Your own characters may not
interact with each other, and you may not use any third party to transfer information from one character to another. Any social
media platforms not approved by Faction Management may not be used for in-character purposes. Returning to your death scene, whether it be
on a different character or the same one, may be considered as Metagaming. Give time for those in the roleplay scenario to leave the scene.

2) Powergaming
Powergaming covers a variety of actions, ranging from unrealistic roleplay actions, forcing roleplay, or roleplaying things not under your possession.
Failing to roleplay proper fear during a scenario can be considered Powergaming. Shooting in CCTV guarded areas with little to no face coverage also falls under this (i.e you have a shootout in front of the gas station where there's clearly CCTV and civilians.) OOC recording may not be passed off as CCTV footage unless a camera is/was present during the player(s) recording, and if said camera is shot off during a roleplay scenario, the CCTV footage will remain unavailable.

Failure to properly roleplay injuries will result in punishment under this rule. GSWs aren't recoverable within a few seconds, requiring injury roleplay on the affected area(s).



3) Weapon Roleplay
When equipping your weapon(s) it is mandatory to roleplay where it came from and what the weapon is. Weapons that are not easily concealable on your person
must be roleplayed being kept somewhere off your person (i.e a backpack.)
4) Hitman Roleplay
Under no circumstance should you be roleplaying as guns for hire. This isn't Assassins Creed. Things such as bounties on someone are allowed,
however they must be roleplayed to the fullest realistic extent.



5) Fail Roleplay
Anything that may disrupt another's roleplay (Trolling, being annoying in /o, etc) will fall under this rule. If someone is uncomfortable with the roleplay that they are experiencing, they may promptly leave in an OOC manner (Weirdo Roleplay.)

Any sort of deathmatch (RK, VDM) also falls under this. Depending on the severity of the situation, an administrator can decide to remove you from the area or take proper action.

Deathmatching - Killing another player with no prior interaction, altercation or invalid reasoning.
Vehicle Deathmatching - Hitting someone with a vehicle with no prior interaction, altercation or invalid reasoning.



6) Weirdo Roleplay
The following roleplay actions are strictly prohibited from ZooYork RP:


Pedophilia
Rape Roleplay (Including rape allegations)
Only consented roleplay is allowed

If caught roleplaying the actions above, you may face a community ban.
7) New Life Rule
When dead in a roleplay scenario, you are not to come back to the scene of your death for twenty OOC minutes. Once you respawn your character, any and all interactions that you have had with an opposing party should no longer be regarded. If taunted via social media in a direct manner, you may involve yourself with the scenario once more, however you will have to build up altercations once more to use weapons. This build-up is not necessary if two groups have had a history of violence between each other.

Greenzones
Areas in which you spawn in are considered greenzones. Shopping areas are also considered greenzones, except that you may have roleplayed altercations within them such as fist fights(requires mutual ooc consent). Police Officers may detain/arrest you within greenzones, however usage of weapons aren't allowed (with the exception of tasers.)



9) Bug Abuse
Using bugs/glitches in order to attain an unfair advantage on others is a punishable offense.
